Frederick has a lot of good breweries but this new spot may have the best beer of any of them. Top quality specialty beers and of course IPAs. The Gentleman's Agreement is very good. Really cool vibe inside that is different from the other breweries in town. They also work with a lot of local charities. I wouldn't be surprised if this becomes the go to brewery in Frederick in short time.

Yesterday, we had the incredible honor of presenting a $13,000 check to Ryan Layman’s family, made possible through everyone who supported this year’s Be Kind Golf Tournament. ❤️⛳

The Be Kind Golf Tournament brought our community together for one incredible cause—and because of your generosity, we were able to help support Ryan and his family during one of the most difficult seasons of their lives.

Last September, Ryan’s life changed in an instant when he was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive T-Cell Lymphoma. Since then, he’s endured months of intensive chemotherapy and is now preparing for a life-saving stem cell transplant.

Through it all, Ryan has remained what he’s always been—a devoted father to his 9-year-old son, Jaxson, a loving partner to Molly, and someone who cherishes life’s simple moments: a round of golf, a day on the water, and time at the beach with the people he loves.

As treatment has kept Ryan from working, the financial burden has continued to grow. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, golfers, donors, volunteers, and everyone who supported this event, we were able to help ease that burden and remind Ryan and his family that they are not fighting this battle alone.

This is what happens when a community comes together with one purpose—to lift someone up when they need it most.
